Greetings...

I have the need to do something like the following:

<al-select nameexpr="val1" optionexpr="val2" onChange="updateText('<al-value expr="val1">')" whitespace/>

Unfortunately only the enclosed al-value gets expanded.
Is there a trick I'm not aware of to make this work or is it time for
an alx-select tag?
