just thought of one.  Add namedirect and valuedirect to the system which lets 
you add literal names and values to the HTML.  Values are returned from the 
input field in the same storage element they were originally presented in.  So 
if the value is defined as line.value().xyzzy for input, that is the same 
storage element used to return a value.
