Oct 1998 - Apr 1999. Hybrid MailMan

Task: Designed and developed Hybrid MailMan
Skills: Linux, GTK+, Gnome, Glade, C, Yacc, Lex, GNU Make, CVS, LaTeX

After developing the EDIPOST system at Australia Post, I decided to build a smaller hybrid mail system which did not require programmer input to configure.

Hybrid MailMan was a fresh approach to hybrid mail. The program was completely controlled and configured via a user friendly GUI implemented using the GTK+ widget set and the Gnome application framework. It included an automatic specification writer which produced customer job specification in both HTML and Postscript via LaTeX.

At this time the project is incomplete. I was forced to rejoin the workforce due to lack of finance. I small and very out of date online demonstration can be seen here.
