[python-sybase] error using Python Sybase

I installed Python-sybase 0.36 for python 2.3.3
The O.S is Windows2000
The database is Sybase 12.0
and using IDLE 1.0.2 I typed :
>>>import Sybase
>>>db=Sybase.connect('SERVDBDEV','def33','CFSTat')
And there's a Pythonw error : "the instruction at 0x009dd8a7 referenced
memory at (0x00000001) the memory could not be written.
Can Any One Help me
