Dear David,

while trying to look at the issue of strored procedures, I
tried to compile with a current (downloaded today, 28
November) FreeTDS version.

FreeTDS was compiled with:
./configure --prefix=/usr/local/freetds --enable-msdblib
--enable-threadsafe --with-tdsver=8.0

Setting SYBASE:
export SYBASE=/usr/local/freetds

and trying to compile the Python Sybase Connector:
python2.3 setup.py build_ext -D HAVE_FREETDS -U
WANT_BULKCOPY

I get:

bonobo@bonobo:~/devel/sybase-0.36pre1$ python2.3 setup.py
build_ext -D HAVE_FREETDS -U WANT_BULKCOPY
running build_ext

I will still try with other options and let you know.

Thank you for your attention,
