Project: Major Project: Reliable Modem Link
Skills: Motorola 6809 Evaluation System, 6809 Assembly

My major project involved developing software to implement a "Reliable Modem Link" in the form of a 6809 microcomputer at either end of a telephone line between the computer/terminal and the modem. Transmitted data was transparently packetised with sequence checks and checksums. The code written entirely in 6809 Assembler. Buffered interrupt driven I/O was utilised.
